S IMMO Hungary, the property manager of the City Center office building at the intersection of Bajcsy-Zsilinszky and Andrássy út, has decided to renew the lobby of the building, creating a new environment that is worthy of and supportive of the complex architectural heritage by reimagining the ground floor common spaces. After the renovation, the character of the new lobby of the iconic office building will be made more personal by archival drawings and sketches by architect József Finta on selected wall surfaces. The works are expected to be completed in July 2022.
Built in 1989, the City Center is a modern, Grade A office building with seven floors of high quality offices. The building underwent a complete renovation in 2012; the most recent renovation was in 2021, when the elevator lobbies were renewed. The main tenants of the building include Itochu, Sopron Bank, the Belgian Embassy Wallon Office and the property's property investment company S IMMO Hungary.
