2021 was the most profitable business year in Vienna based S IMMO AG’s more than 30 years of existence. The company’s portfolio of around 375 properties had a combined market value of more than EUR 2.8 billion and a total floor area of around 1.4 million m².
S IMMO's belief that real estate should serve both tenants and the (urban) environment is reflected in its approach as the group's property management model is based on long-term investment and sustainability considerations for predictable growth. The majority of the real estate is located in the capitals of the European Union, such as Vienna, Berlin, Prague, Bratislava, Zagreb, Bucharest and Budapest. In 2021, more than 67% of the portfolio was commercial real estate and 32.7% residential real estate, with a 94% occupancy rate and a 5% rental yield.
